Our Curriculum

Inspired and Integrated

Our preschool curriculum is inspired by the natural environment, integrated with developmentally appropriate exploration of skills, knowledge and concepts in learning areas such as language and literacy, numeracy, discovery of the world, physical and motor skills, as well as the creative arts. We emphasise the importance of equipping children with life skills, thinking, and social skills that will prepare them for wherever their education path takes them. More than preparing them for school, we believe in preparing children for LIFE.

Curriculum Components

Junior/senior Tots & Nursery 1

Experiential and sensorial, our curriculum components for the early years provide a myriad of opportunities for children to make sense of the world through their senses. In an outdoor setting with the natural environment as their third teacher, children connect with nature as they build up their thinking and self-help skills, creativity, confidence and independence.

“Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.” - Fred Donaldson

NURSERY 2 & Kindys

Our inquiry-based curriculum for our 5-6 year olds consists of a balance of academic skills as well as life and social skills that will prepare children for learning beyond their preschool years. Woven through each outdoor learning experience and activity are opportunities for character building and connection-making. Children’s curious minds are supported and stretched as they observe, reason, analyse and problem-solve.

“Nature is a tool to get children to experience not just the wider world, but themselves.” - Stephen Moss
